Homestead, established in 1983 under the direction of National Wholesale,
has developed to become one of Ireland's leading private labels. The range
consists of over 170 products in categories ranging from biscuits and pasta
to pet food and disposable nappies. Household
products such as firelighters, paper and washing-up liquids are among
the best selling lines and provide strong market penetration in the Irish
grocery market.
The Homestead philosophy is committed to servicing the wholesaler, retailer
and consumer equally while ensuring ongoing quality control and product
investment year-on-year. Teamed with our support for the domestic economy
through the sourcing of many products from Irish owned businesses, it
is easy to see why Homestead continues as an integral part of the grocery
experience in Ireland.
 
Homestead products are available to the trade via the network
of Stonehouse wholesalers (see locater map).
For consumers Homestead can be found in all the symbol groups displayed
on this site as well as with many independent retailers throughout Ireland
who are serviced by Stonehouse member companies.
To complement the existing distribution network, and as a result of the
successful Aontas venture, Homestead can also be found in Superquinn outlets,
ensuring market presence in both regional Ireland and major towns and
cities, like Dublin.
